The needs-matched way is engraved in our DNA, it is our way of working and thinking. We use the needs-matched way as a guide to go about our work.
At BrightRock, we know that more than anything, our legacy is built around our people. The contributions and ideas that each and every BrightRocker brings to the table makes us who we are. This is why we have needs-matched way sessions every year – as a reminder of the work we do and how we help people Love Change.
In 2024, we started our journey to find our personal purpose and how it links to the BrightRock purpose. We learnt that the journey to find your personal purpose includes having people around you who will help you and hold you accountable. We also took a look at the impact of achieving our individual goals and how that can contribute to the bigger picture. And at the end of the year, we were able to identify what we do best as BrightRockers and how that can translate into our work lives at BrightRock.
Understanding the ‘why-to-how’
Fast forward to 2025, now we’re on our journey to find each team’s purpose within BrightRock. To find our team’s purpose, we first need to understand the why. So, we gave you and your leaders a needs-matched toolkit to help you craft your unique team-story, your team’s ‘why-to-how’ and how your strengths and values as a team can help shape your identity and apply in how you achieve your goals.
In the first module, we asked all of our teams to creatively visualise how they see their team’s identity. In addition to answering a few questions, the teams took pen to paper and brought their purpose to life by drawing a visual representation of their identity.
