It’s been an incredible year, and as we wrap up, we want to celebrate some of the standout achievements, projects, and milestones that made this year a chart-topper for Sales and Distribution.

In February, we introduced major improvements to the extra cover buy-up process. Previously a manual and time-consuming workflow, it has now been fully automated, dramatically reducing turnaround times. Our fastest activation took just 8 minutes, compared to the 2-3 days previously. This innovation has boosted confidence in the product and made a measurable impact on Distribution’s performance.

We then launched the Cover Support Services team in July to further drive extra cover buy-up sales. This new team complements our distribution channel by creating additional client touchpoints and enabling proactive engagement. While our online platform continues to streamline broker interactions, the team adds a high-contact sales capability, allowing Cover Specialists to engage clients directly, answer questions, and guide them through the extra cover buy-up process. This initiative has not only enhanced the overall client experience but also reinforced our commitment to meaningful engagement and maximising sales opportunities across every interaction.

Our soundtrack for tackling challenges

This year brought valuable lessons. We refined our distribution models to better recognise and reward the hard work and exceptional results of our Distribution Specialists. Building on insights from previous years, we focused on continuous improvement – enhancing our product, refining our offerings, and evaluating the client experience. By embracing technology and putting client engagement at the centre, we are strengthening the foundation for long-term growth and ensuring that every interaction delivers real value.

Our strategies delivered strong growth across large network brokerages and Tier 1 IFAs. According to the latest NMG survey, BrightRock now leads the market in these segments, highlighting the significant impact of our Key Distribution Specialists (KDEs).

Ending the year on a high note

From August to October, we launched the Supersonic Submission Challenge - an initiative created to energise our teams and drive productivity. The challenge delivered exactly that, improving submission efficiency, strengthening performance, and increasing engagement across divisions.

Following its success, we extended the competition into November and December, helping us close the year on a high note while celebrating exceptional teamwork, collaboration, and the impact of our key distribution initiatives.

Looking ahead to 2026, we remain committed to equipping our advisers with the tools and support they need to provide ongoing advice and personalised guidance. This ensures that clients continue to receive the clarity, confidence, and peace of mind that only trusted expertise can deliver.
