To find our team purpose, you first need to understand the ‘why’. And so, we gave you a needs-matched toolkit to help you craft your unique team-story, your team’s ‘why-to-how’, and ways in which you see everything you do as a team being put into action and achieving your goals as a team.
We gave you five modules, each with outcomes that would help you on your journey to finding your team’s purpose. Everything has been scientifically underpinned by Change Science, positive psychology, life coaching, personal change, studies on meaning, self-awareness, and mindfulness.
In the first module, we asked our teams to creatively visualise how they see their team’s identity. In addition to answering a few questions, the teams took pen to paper and brought their purpose to life by drawing a visual representation of their purpose.
The second module was about unpacking what you do well as a team. We gave you four questions to help you identify your team’s strengths and talents. We wanted to get insights into your shared strengths and things you do well as a team.
In the third module, we wanted you to get a deeper understanding on what you value as a team. We also wanted you to share the cornerstones that resonate with your team.
We then get into the ‘why’ and the ‘how’ in module 4 and 5. We first asked you to outline your team’s why, what your team does, and how you do what you do. We asked you to write a statement selling what your team does. And then for the last module, we asked you to put what you’ve been doing into practice.
It’s been such an exciting journey to finding our team purpose. We’re proud of all the teams and we hope that you’re able to outline your team’s ‘why-to-how’ and how you’ll be able to put it to practice in the years to come.
