The sun is out and most of us will be taking a break from our day-to-day tasks and getting some well-deserved time off.
Although most people will spend their time basking in the sun there are also those days when you want to spend some time at home. Here are some tips on how you can stay entertained this summer.
Read books
You can spend your free time catching up on a good read. Choose something you’ve been meaning to read all year and haven’t had the time. Read something fun or challenge yourself by choosing something different from what you would pick up on a normal day.
Learn a new skill
Learning a new skill can be valuable and fun, this can be anything from the basics of coding, sewing, candle making or basic graphic design. Take online tutorials with one of our BrightRewards education partners and get discounts on any course you’re interested in.
Be on the move
Get your steps in by walking around your neighbourhood, join a park run or hit up a hiking trail. There are a lot of beautiful and affordable hiking trails in our country. Moving around is a great way to get some exercise and share a memorable experience with your friends and family.

The holiday season is the perfect time to spread some joy. You can spend your free time putting some kindness into someone’s life and giving back to your community.
