When BrightRockers roll up their sleeves, amazing things happen. On Friday, 24 October, our Bright Sparks at our head office in Sandton came together not just to pack meals – but to pack hope, kindness, and care into every box.
Through our collective efforts, we’ve helped ensure that 63 children under the age of 6 are fed every day for a year at school. This means that we were able to pack 68 boxes – that’s 14 688 meals in total, which will be distributed to schools across Gauteng.
Nourishing hope, one meal at a time
It was more than just volunteering time – it was a powerful reminder of what happens when BrightRockers unite for a great cause. Together with Rise Against Hunger, we didn’t just feed bodies – we fed futures. The rice and soy meals pack a punch – they have 20 vitamins and minerals all in one life-changing package. Not only that, but the meals represent the hopes and dreams of children facing food insecurity.
