This year, the Brand team is focusing on two major projects, the Change Science tools and the Change Science Institute.
With the Change Science Institute, we’re on a mission to help people better navigate change in their lives through the useful application of good change science. Change isn’t just a moment – it’s a movement. By blending science and creativity, we’re turning complex insights into practical, real-world tools that empower individuals to embrace life’s transitions with clarity and confidence.
Creating next level success

We’re taking content creation to the next level and making sure more people hear about BrightRock – the first-ever needs-matched life insurance that changes as your life changes. We’re bringing this message to life through dynamic storytelling, engaging content, and some exciting new series that are launching soon.

We recently launched our needs-matched rewards and savings programme, BrightRewards, as a way of saying thank you to our Bright Sparks for all you do to bring our purpose alive.

We revamped our online forms to deliver a better user experience to clients, advisers and BrightRockers.

The People team plans to continue to support the ongoing growth and development of BrightRockers by actively engaging managers on the tools that we’ve developed to help recruit the right talent as well as to grow and develop their people. We also want to continue to engage the leadership team to ensure that we upskill upcoming talent for business continuity. We’re looking forward to an empty filing room as we continue our digital transition and phasing away hardcopy files.
Staying connected is our priority
As a team, staying connected is a priority for us – not just in how we work, but in how we grow together. We host our annual brand strategy sessions where the Brand, People and Learning team aligns with the broader business objectives, ensuring that we all contribute to BrightRock’s overall strategy. We encourage open communication and share some playful moments together.
Rewarding excellence
As part of staying connected, the BPL Change Makers Awards allow us to celebrate and recognise each other’s contributions through peer nominations. Some of our team members have been nominated for Endeavour Awards – there’s too many to mention – but we’re excited to see them thrive. Together, we’re building a culture that is not only productive but also inspiring and rewarding.
Looking back on the past year, we’re incredibly proud of everything our team has accomplished. Every project, campaign, and initiative we’ve worked on has been a testament to the dedication, creativity, and passion each team member brings. Watch this space – there’s so much more to come!
