Bright on the change: The United Rugby Championship 2026/27 is back!
Spring is here, the weather is changing, and so is the rugby. The 2026/27 United Rugby Championship kicked off on Friday, 25 September – bringing 18 rounds of big hits, bigger rivalries and plenty of reasons to clear your Saturday afternoon.
We’re excited to watch the new season, with all five rugby nations – South Africa, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and Italy – in action. And there’s no easing into it – the opening weekend brought some serious clashes, including the Lions hosting Leinster, the Sharks taking on the Ospreys and the DHL Stormers travelling to Connacht.
Here’s to a new URC season, new possibilities and whatever changes come our way!
You can visit the United Rugby Championship website for the full fixture list.
