Celebrating a season of change, renewal, and exciting new beginnings!

by
October 2026
We’re very spoilt with having an amazing coastline, and beautiful sunsets and sunrises and we’re looking forward to celebrating all this beautiful change in the air!
Our proudest change moments
We’re proud of how some of our team members have taken ownership of things and get passionate about their work. It’s great to see that kind of passion. It’s truly inspiring seeing our team embracing change, staying curious and growing in their job.
And what would Spring be without a lot of celebrations – all celebrated differently, some with gifts and lots of cake and laughter, others more a handshake and hug. One of the highlights this year was the arrival of three babies in the Windy City. Congratulations to Chelsea Pieterse, Aurielle Heilbron and Jenathan Jacobs who welcomed babies.

We embrace change by remaining adaptable as new opportunities arise
In the New Business Applications Requirements Management team, we’re very aware that change is inevitable and we try and take it in our stride. We had to say goodbye to the medical receipting function recently and although it was hard at the time, it gave us the opportunity to train and re-evaluate the existing teams.
We’ve also had some people move on, and although it’s always sad to say goodbye to our colleagues – John Haggard and Shayna Corran who have become friends over the years, we were happy to see them embrace change in their lives. We’re also excited to have the Policy Finance and Commission team move back to our building. This will give us an opportunity to meet new people and experience new friendships.
It was a bittersweet moment for us in the Policy Finance and Commission team when we made the move from Southern Life Gardens back to Metropolitan Office Park, where we joined the Gqeberha Client Operations team. This move marked an exciting new chapter and presented an opportunity for greater collaboration and connection. We’re looking forward to our team building coming a bit later this month where we’ll be joined by Izak van der Westhuizen. We’ll be heading to St George's Park to watch the cricket, as South Africa takes on Australia – combining team spirit with national pride.
As we welcomed the season of renewal, we're reminded that change is not just something that happens around us, it's something that helps us grow. Here's to an exciting Spring season and to embracing the opportunities that the rest of the year will bring!
