The ICT team is working on exciting projects that will improve systems, make processes more efficient, and bring innovation to BrightRock. We have some key initiatives that we’re looking forward to this year.
Deploying the PowerApps framework
The deployment of the PowerApps framework will enable us to create applications that help teams work more efficiently across the organisation.
UniPaaS system migrations
Several UniPaaS systems are moving to more advanced platforms. The Party Management system is moving to the Power Platform, while Claims Management and Commission Contracting are moving to the Life Processing Junction. These changes will make it easier for teams to access and manage important information and increase operational efficiency.
User Interface (UI) framework rollout
We’re introducing a new user interface (UI) framework to ensure an improved, consistent, and accessible experience when using digital platforms. This update will pave the way for future improvements in design and functionality.
How we’re staying connected as a team
Strong connections are an important part of our culture.
Every Tuesday morning, we gather on Teams for a huddle that includes fun activities, discussions on different topics, and team-building games. These sessions help everyone stay connected in a relaxed and engaging way.
We have in-office connection time. While many team members work remotely, coming into the office allows for valued interaction. These in-person connections provide opportunities for face-to-face collaboration and help strengthen working relationships.
Once a month, the entire ICT team comes together for the ICT Townhall. This event includes important updates, team celebrations, and friendly competitions through games. It’s a great opportunity to recognise team achievements, share ideas, and enjoy some social time with colleagues.

A year of hard work and success
One of the standout achievements of the past year was the implementation of the extra cover buy-up automation project by the Application Foundry team. Despite challenges, the team's hard work resulted in a solution that adds significant value to the business. Additionally, the Application Care team consistently received positive feedback on their service, reflecting their commitment to service excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.
With exciting projects and opportunities ahead, the ICT team is set to embrace new challenges, drive innovation, and continue making a meaningful impact.
