This year, we’re excited about the projects that we’re involved in and the automation that they will bring. We look forward to working smarter and putting service at the heart of everything we do.
In the Client Operations team, we have picked up where we left off with the projects we are involved in. Testing and ensuring everything works as expected afterwards is par for the course here.
The Medical Appointments team is streamlining processes to be ready for the bigger initiative later this year. Another big focus for the team this year is looking at ways of improving turnaround times.

2025 was truly a standout year!
Looking back on 2025, we had a good year in our teams. We maintained the level of service that is expected of us, with all teams exceeding their SLAs. We achieved the highest DS ratings for six months of 2025. The Tele-underwriting team achieved the highest rating ever of 9.33 in February 2025. Absolutely awesome achievement!
Across Policy Finance and Commission Distribution and Contracting, we’re excited by the momentum we’re seeing around the Hyphen Commission Automation project, Beneficial Ownership update project and a strong focus on process efficiencies that simplify how we work and enhance how we serve our clients.
2025 brought its fair share of challenges, but what truly stands out is how our team responded. Through change, pressure, and complexity, we’ve continued to grow, adapt, and support one another. The resilience shown by the team has been inspiring, and it’s this grit, collaboration, and shared sense of purpose that makes us incredibly proud to be part of an incredible team.
What we expect in the year to come
Customer experience remains a key trend for us in 2026, and we’re intentionally embedding service excellence into our daily duties. From refining processes to leveraging automation, our goal is to create seamless, reliable experiences for both internal and external stakeholders – because great service is not a once-off, it’s a habit.
In the Data Capture and Medical Receipting teams, the usage of online forms has made the work more efficient with less errors. Allowing clients to complete the documentation on their devices anywhere and anytime is a great client experience. We are working on more automation projects in these teams, to further enhance the client experience this year.
The Tele-underwriting team is looking forward to the new WhatsApp process going live shortly, this will take client communication to a new and exciting level in this team.
We’ve had plenty to celebrate as a team!
A big congratulations to Amanda Somhlahlo, who was promoted to Commissions Consultant — a well-deserved achievement. We welcomed Nandipha Mdolomba and Ray Pearce to the team. We’d also like to welcome Kwakhona Boco, Natasha Mabandla and Siphethuxolo Gili, our three interns who joined us earlier this month. We’re so thrilled to have them on board.
We also want to congratulate Ilke Janse van Vuuren, Zinhle Ngoxoza, Chandre Kock on their bundles of joy. And while we’re keeping things under wraps for now, we’re also eagerly awaiting the arrival of three BrightRock babies in the Corporate Finance, Policy Finance and Commission Distribution and Contracting teams – watch the space.
Love and wedding bells are in the air! A bright congratulations to Duveen Appels on her engagement. We wish her all the best and exciting times ahead!
We’re proud of our Endeavour Award winners for Q1, Blanche Bezuidenhout, Duveen Appels, Savannah Opperman, Nombasa Xako, and Teresa Griesel who continue to raise the bar through their commitment and performance.
We had to bid farewell to Nazli Ajam, it was a sad day saying goodbye to someone who we worked with for so many years. We gave her a good send-off and we’ll miss her dearly.
And after a successful 2025, we’re looking forward to an even greater 2026, with new energy and focus.
